Lunch Program

The Richmond and Castro senior centers both serve a tastefully prepared and nutritionally balanced noon meal Monday through Friday. Project Open Hand provides approximately 60 meals per day at both sites. Reservations are strongly advised for both centers.

The quality of their culinary expertise can best be judged by the fact that limited seating is often taken up well before serving times. View our monthly menu and make a plan to try their chief's version of your favorite dish. A modest $2.00 is the suggested donation for those over 60 years of age, while a $6.00 fee covers guests under 60. Cuisine regularly reflects the ethnic diversity of San Francisco. An Open Hand meal site coordinator staffs both host centers.
